Xa'latath: 3D Bust for Games, Inspired by World of Warcraft.
This project is a 3D bust of the character Xa'latath from the game World of Warcraft, with strong inspiration from the fan art of the talented artist Wenmo Zhang. The main objective was to improve my 3D modeling skills for games and refine my production workflow.
During development, I sought to deepen my knowledge in various areas, including:
High and low-resolution modeling in ZBrush

Creation of realistic skin textures from scratch in Substance Painter
UV mapping with UDIMs for optimization
Rendering in Marmoset Toolbag
The final model has 119,000 triangles, including the hair.

This project allowed me to solidify my existing knowledge and explore new techniques, enhancing my ability to create high-quality 3D characters for games.
